‘Bee Aspinal’ Sustainable Eyewear
Sustainable eyewear is incredibly important to us so, in line with Aspinal of London’s commitment towards a sustainable future, we are proud to introduce fourteen luxurious frames with sustainability at their core. Our bio-based acetate from a leading Italian supplier is created from FSC certified wood pulp. The material is biodegradable (tested to BS EN ISO 14855) and free from standard plasticisers. Additionally, the leather selected for these models is sustainable and processed without the use of environmentally damaging chemicals. In fact, we ensure to only use ethically sourced raw materials, the leather selected for these models is from LWG certified suppliers, who are focussed on minimising the environmental impacts of their manufacturing process.
Refined vintage styling harmonises with contemporary colour-play in ASP L535; an iconic and sustainable bio-based acetate design. Inspired by Aspinal of London’s heritage colour palette; Col.01 is an exquisite midnight blue elevated with gold accents. Col.02 is a subtle transparent pink crystal for a versatile, everyday feel. Not to mention, the harmonising, sustainable leather temple-trims provide an homage to conscious luxury. As well as this, a gold bee motif is found on the tips, identifying this model as a sustainable eyewear.
Developed with superior craftsmanship and the highest quality bio-based acetate from Italy, ASP M538 is a smart and stylish square-shaped frame with retro detailing. Col.01 is a timeless tortoiseshell with matt gunmetal hardware for a modern take on a classic eyewear design. Col.02 is a polished grey striation inspired by the Aspinal of London leather archive. The metallic temples are sculpted into the Aspinal of London shield shape to align with the brands powerful heritage.
