EYESPACE LAUNCH NEW BRAND, ARHLO

2023’s ‘Frame of the Year’ award winners, Eyespace, are proud to announce the launch of an exciting new brand, ARHLO, whose ethos is one of fairness, inclusivity as well as a respect for nature and the environment. The thoughtfully designed collection debuts a sustainable selection of male, female and gender-neutral fashion styles that have been designed to appeal to today’s diverse and individual frame wearer.

ARHLO is presented in a variety of sizes, styles and colours that champion individuality while remaining planet-friendly. Eyespace continue to opt for bio-acetate wherever possible; a plant-based and biodegradable material, with a view to create a positive impact on the eyewear industry. Recognised for working with the world’s leading eyewear manufacturers to ensure quality, innovation, and responsible production, the launch of ARHLO also marks their first major release since becoming a certified B-Corporation. Jayne Abel, CEO & Co-founder, said, “We wanted to establish a collection of ultra-desirable glasses that have a fair price and a positive social impact. With a clear vision in mind and having deeply researched the cultural shifts sweeping through today’s society, ARHLO was born. Our aim was to encapsulate multiple audiences in a bold way, choosing a range of statement colours and patterns that would allow personalities to shine through. The collection comprises a variety of considered fitting options; you’ll find petite through to larger eye sizes, longer temple lengths, keyhole bridges and flex-hinges to support the diversity of today’s wearer needs.”

Abel continued, “We hope to encourage frame wearers to become more confident, with new, brighter shades, positively impacting their mood and mindset. ARHLO’s styling directive balances heritage and modernity to achieve an effortlessly cool aesthetic that remains highly wearable. Striking marbled materials sit effortlessly alongside more understated styles, showcasing subtlety through striated colours and tonal crystals.”

Bringing powerful iconography to the brand, ARHLO’s distinctive ‘eye’ logo – the only branding to appear on each frame – unites a contemporary iteration of the letters ‘A’ and ‘O’. Infusing personality and creative energy, a chartreuse fill adds a pop of colour and captures the playful and effortless ARHLO essence. Other design intricacies include a double pin lug detail on a selection of models, which adds a vintage touch, while three-dimensional temple and tip sculpting across the entire range harmonises the collection.

Signature piece from the launch collection, ARH001 is a striking model with an undeniably modern personality. Featuring a softly-rounded square shape, this frame is offered in a choice of two head-turning colourways. C1 is a magnetising fusion of cobalt blue, peach and black, while C2 is a fearlessly high-fashion brown marble. Dual-pin detailing on the eyefront adds a nod to retro styling.

ARHLO enhances Eyespace’s leading portfolio of award-winning British eyewear collections, which unites the luxury designer licenses Range Rover, Aspinal of London and Defender, alongside their eight signature house brands. The brand is launched with a new suite of merchandising and campaign images, available with every purchase, and each ARHLO frame is provided with a premium, foldaway case in a choice of a soft blue-grey or sage green with a mink grey interior.
